We informed you earlier that the 2025 Kia Carens facelift will be launched in the Indian market on May 8, 2025. The MPV has been spotted testing multiple times, but was covered in heavy cloth. For the first time, the Carens facelift has been spotted without any camouflage. It was caught during a TVC shoot in the higher altitudes of the country.
The sole image shows the rear and side profile of the new Carens. In terms of changes, the MPV has new rear bumper that houses a large silver insert, new LED tail-lights connected by LED light bar, and revised tailgate. Also, the reverse parking light has been placed to the lower bumper. Also See - Tata Avinya - 7 Cool Features
The side profile appears largely identical to the existing model, except for the new set of alloy wheels and redesigned roof rails. The front design is yet to be revealed, but spy images suggest that the MPV will have more SUV-like aggressive design. It is expected to receive a more prominent front grille, new set of headlamps with a connected light bar, and a new bumper with new air intake channels.
The cabin is likely to receive major changes in terms of features and dashboard design. It is likely to be equipped with a revised dashboard layout with similarities with the new Kia Syros. It could get a 30-inch display incorporating a 12.3-inch touchscreen unit, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 5-inch unit for climate control. The MPV is also likely to get panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree surround view camera and LEVEL 2 ADAS suite.
The engine options are likely to include a 1.5L NA petrol, a 1.5L turbocharged petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel. All engine options will come with manual and automatic gearbox choices.
