2025 MG Astor Launched at Rs 9.99 Lakh - Branded as Blockbuster SUV

In order to increase sales, JSW MG Motor has launched the 2025 Astor SUV with new branding and new features. Marketed as "The Blockbuster SUV", the 2025 MG Astor is now available at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). 

2025 MG Astor Key Features

The 2025 MG Astor is now the only SUV in its category to offer a panoramic sunroof under INR 12.5 lakh (ex-showroom) with its new Shine variant. Adding to it, the Select variant of the mid-sized SUV is fitted with six airbags and premium Ivory Leatherette seats. Interested buyers can book the new Astor, the Blockbuster SUV online or at the nearest MG dealership.

It comes equipped with 50+ safety and security features, while the premium interiors and panoramic sunroof further improves its comfort level. The 2025 MG Astor is also the first SUV in India to get a personal AI assistant and a host of 14 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features. The ADAS features include lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and others.

In terms of features, the 2025 MG Astor gets ventilated front seats, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and auto dimming IRVM. It also comes with an updated i-SMART 2.0 with Advanced Under Interface and 80+ connected features. The SUV has JIO Voice Recognition system, which enables voice commands for weather, cricket updates, calculator and others. 

Specifications

The new Astor is available with 1.5L MT & CVT and 1.3L Turbo AT powertrains. The 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine is capable of producing 110bhp, while the 1.4L turbo engine produces 140bhp and is paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. 

MG Cyberster and M9 Electric MPV Bookings Open

MG Motor India is all set to launch the long-awaited Cyberster 2-door sports car and the M9 MPV in the country in April 2025. Interested buyers can book these vehicles online at MG Select website or at authorized dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 51,000. 

The Cyberster is packed with a 77kWh battery pack with a twin electric motor setup rated at 510bhp and 725Nm. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 3.2 seconds, and offers a range of up to 580km on a full charge. The MG M9 electric MPV gets a 90kWh battery pack and offers 241bhp electric motor.
