Volvo launched the facelift version of the XC90 in India yesterday at Rs 1.03 crore. This updated version made its debut globally last year with a refreshed design, modern technology, and improved comfort levels. With its launch in the Indian market, the automaker will compete with other luxury SUVs in this segment.
Let's have a closer look at the 2025 Volvo XC90 to see what new this SUV has to offer.
Minor but quite notable changes have been made to the exterior updates. In the front, it features things and modern slimmer LED headlights with Thor's hammer-designed LED DRLs, a revised front grille with new sloping lines, and a metallic finish. With these changes, the front bumper is now much rugged and bold-looking.
As for the other elements, the SUV now comes with new dual-tone 21-inch alloy wheels, silver door sill, and chrome window sill. A new roof spoiler and Volvo badge on the rear tailgate finish the look.
This new version is offered in new Mulberry Red along with five other options Onyx Black, Crystal White, Denim Blue, Vapor Grey, Bright Dusk, and new Mulberry Red.
The cabin of the car remains almost the same as the previous model, with some small changes. These changes include the addition of an all-new 11.2-inch standalone screen, 19-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, ventilated and massaging power front seats, a four-zone climate system, AC vents have also been stretched and steering wheel got a new gloss-back trim featured on the bottom spoke.
Apart from these, the cabin still remains luxurious with a 7-seater layout and high-end materials all over.
The XC90 Facelift is powered by the same 2.0-liter turbo-petrol mild-hybrid motor, which delivers 250 horsepower and 360Nm of torque. This motor accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and drives all four wheels.
The 2025 XC90 seats above the previous model with an increase of Rs. 2 lakh at Rs 1.03 crore (ex-showroom). In the luxury SUVs segment, the facelift competes with models such as the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and Audi Q7.
