Maruti Suzuki gears up for big launches in 2026. e Vitara EV and Brezza facelift lead the action. Electric, flex-fuel and refreshed SUVs on the way.
Maruti Suzuki is preparing for a major product push in 2026. The brand is expected to enter the electric SUV space, introduce flex-fuel technology, and refresh some of its popular models. From the much-awaited Maruti Suzuki e Vitara to the 2026 Maruti Brezza, here’s a look at four Maruti cars expected to launch in India this year.

Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be the company’s first fully electric car for India and is expected to launch in January 2026. This electric SUV will be offered with two battery options - 49 kWh and 61 kWh. The bigger battery is claimed to deliver a driving range of up to 543 km, making the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara range quite competitive.
Power output will range from 142 bhp to 172 bhp. Built on the Heartect-e platform, the SUV will focus on both performance and efficiency. Key features are expected to include Level 2 ADAS, a large touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and multiple airbags. With fast charging support, the Maruti e Vitara launch will mark a new chapter for the brand.
Maruti Suzuki is also planning a big update for the Fronx in 2026. The highlight will be a Flex-Fuel variant that can run on ethanol-petrol blends up to E85. This version is expected to go on sale in the second half of the year.
A facelift for the Fronx is also on the cards, possibly arriving by late 2026 or early 2027. The updated model could get a more premium cabin, a sunroof, and advanced safety features like Level 2 ADAS. For now, the Fronx will continue with its existing petrol and CNG options.
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift is expected to debut in mid-2026. Spy images suggest small design changes, including updated LED lights, a revised grille, and new alloy wheels.
Inside, the Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift 2026 may get a larger touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, and ventilated front seats on higher variants. Safety is also expected to improve with features like six airbags as standard and possible Level 2 ADAS.
The 2026 Maruti Brezza will likely continue with the 1.5-litre petrol engine, while the CNG version may get an underfloor tank for better boot space. Prices are expected to range between Rs 8.50 lakh and Rs 14 lakh, ex-showroom.
After the e Vitara, Maruti Suzuki is expected to introduce an electric MPV, internally codenamed YMC. This model will likely compete with upcoming electric MPVs like the Kia Carens EV and MG Windsor EV.
The YMC is expected to share its platform and battery setup with the e Vitara. It is likely to focus on space, comfort, and practicality, making it suitable for family buyers looking to switch to electric mobility.
