Jeep India has re-launched the Meridian X Special Edition, which was discontinued last year. The price of the 2024 Meridian X stands at Rs 34.27 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for this special edition are currently open. However, it will be available in only limited units.
Jeep Meridian X is positioned between the Limited O and the Overland variants. From the outside, it features new body-coloured lowers with contrasting grey roof and alloy wheels with grey pockets.
Its cabin has also received styling upgrades and more features. Some of these include an air purifier, sun shades, programmable ambient lighting, puddle lamps, new side moulding, and a dashcam. The 3-row SUV also offers premium carpet mats and an optional entertainment package for the rear seats.
Under the hood, the Meridian X houses a 2.0-litre diesel engine that can generate a maximum power of 168 bhp with 350 Nm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 10.8 seconds at the top speed of 198 kmph.
