Jeep is planning to bring the Trailhawk version of the Wagoneer S electric SUV to the international markets. The concept for the same has also been revealed, giving hints at its design elements and powerful performance. Its production-ready model is likely to come first in the U.S. and then in Canada during the second half of this year.
The Wagoneer S Trailhawk is likely to feature an aggressive front & rear design. Some of its design elements include a fresh seven-slot illuminated grille with Storm Gray metallic accents, lifted suspension, 31.5-inch all-terrain tyres, functional air extractor to improve performance, anti-glare hood decal, laser-cut aluminium roof rack, front & rear orange tow hooks, flush badging, and more.
The interior of the Trailhawk is expected to be different from the standard version. It will feature a red-coloured switch panel in the centre console, a new octagon-shaped steering wheel, and a passenger grab handle.
Along with a Rock drive mode, the electric SUV will have Auto, Sand, Eco, and Sport modes as well. The driver-selectable electronic rear axle locker is also added for the new version.
The brand has not revealed the battery details for the Trailhawk version. Expect the model to get a 100.5 kWh battery pack and a dual motor, producing 600 hp of power.
There is no information regarding the India launch of the new Wagoneer S or Trailhawk version. However, Jeep has plans to bring a next-gen Compass to the Indian market by 2026.
