Mahindra BE 07 launch in 2027 Based on INGLO platform Realistic range of up to 500km
Following the massive success of XEV 9e, XEV 9S and BE 6, Mahindra is now preparing to launch its fourth born-electric SUV based on the Mahindra BE 07 Concept. While the BE 6 targets the enthusiasts with its “SUV-Coupe” styling, the BE 07 is being positioned as at the more sophisticated, boxy and spacious 5-seater SUV.
Unlike the aggressive, sharp-angled BE 6, the Mahindra BE 07 adopts a more traditional and upright SUV stance. Recent spy shots reveal a flat roofline, vertically-placed LED daytime running lamps, and a clean rear profile. The electric SUV features flush-door handles and aero-optimised 19-inch alloy wheels.
While it shares the same 2775mm wheelbase with the Mahindra BE 6, the BE 07 will be longer and taller, and offers a significantly more headroom and a larger boot capacity.
The Mahindra BE 07 is built on the brand’s modular INGLO architecture, which is specially designed for high-performance electric drivetrains. It is likely to be offered with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery choices On the 80 kWh variant, the Mahindra BE 07 is expected to offer a real-world range of 500km with a claimed range of over 600km on a single charge.
The new Mahindra BE 07 will come with a triple screen dashboard comprising a 12.3-inch centrally-mounted infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 12.3-inch co-occupant entertainment screen, Standard equipment will include a large panoramic sunroof, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and touch-sensitive haptic controls on the centre console.
It is expected that the production version of the BE 07 will be revealed by the end of 2026 or early 2027, while the official launch is expected in 2027. The electric SUV is estimated to be priced around Rs 25 lakh - 30 lakh. It will directly rival the Tata Harrier EV, BYD Atto 3 and the VinFast VF7.
