Mahindra’s Next-Gen Sales and Service Experience: ICE & EV Integration Underway
Mahindra announced an upgrade to showrooms for better customer experience. The company has hired 500 consultants from premium automotive brands. The BE 9 and XEV 9e will be open for booking from 14 February 2025.
Mahindra has announced an upgrade to its sales and service infrastructure with the introduction of new technology-focused dealerships and enhanced after-sales support all over India. This initiative is taking place as the carmaker is preparing to launch its new electric SUV lineup.
What's More About Mahindra’s Next-Gen Sales and Service Experience
The brand will be redesigning its showrooms to present its new technologies which include the INGLO electric vehicle platform and MAIA artificial intelligence system. Also, a significant addition is the Sonic Studio Experience, featuring a Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos technology.
For these upgrades, Mahindra has hired 500 consultants from premium automotive brands to help customers.
Plans for new After-Sale Service and Initiative
Mahindra's executive said "This transformation reflects our commitment to elevating the customer experience," "We're not just selling vehicles; we're creating a comprehensive ecosystem for both our electric and conventional SUV owners."
As a part of overall infrastructure upgrades, the after-sales service network is also undergoing major changes. Such changes are specialized service bays for electric vehicles and new diagnostic capabilities.
The company has set up a network of Battery Repair Centers and made a team of 400 technical experts, supported by engineers from the Mahindra Research Valley facility. There is also a new initiative CHARGE.IN, a new division focused on electric vehicle charging solutions. A unit of over 350 specialists will be managing home charger installations and coordinating with public charging networks.
Introduction of New Mobile Application
Automaker has also launched the Me4U mobile app that helps with vehicle tracking, maintenance scheduling, and charging payment processing. This app is designed to simplify the ownership experience for both electric and conventional vehicle customers.
This initiative aligns with the company's "Unlimit Love" vision, which focuses on customer engagement and technological innovation.
The bookings for Mahindra's new electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e are on February 14 at 9:00 AM. The electric SUVs will be available in nine variants, marking Mahindra's expanded presence in the electric vehicle market.
