Mahindra is gearing up for the launch of its new Scorpio N-based pickup truck at the upcoming Freedom_NU event on 15th August 2025. Ahead of the grand event, a new test mule of the Scorpio N Pickup has been spotted on public roads. Although the truck remains heavily camouflaged, a few details can still be noticed.

The latest spy shots show the single-cab variant of the upcoming Scorpio N Pickup. Compared to previous sightings, this test mule now features dummy external headlight enclosures, strategically hiding the final design of the headlamps and grille. The rest of the truck seems to retain proportions and body structure from the 2023 concept, with a functional and practical truck bed. While the rear continues to feature basic halogen tail-lamps, the presence of steel wheels suggests this prototype is an early base-spec version.
The Scorpio N Pickup will be underpinned by the same ladder-frame chassis as the Scorpio N SUV. It is expected to feature Mahindra’s reliable 2.2-litre diesel engine, with an optional 4x4 drivetrain for off-road capability. A petrol variant could also be introduced, offering a lower entry price point while meeting emissions standards. The ride setup is likely to differ from the SUV, though high ground clearance and tough underbody protection will likely remain to ensure rugged performance.
The Freedom_NU event on 15th August 2025 will offer a clearer look at the Scorpio N Pickup, as well as Mahindra's wider Vision lineup. Although the exact launch timeline is yet to be confirmed, market availability of the pickup is expected later this year or early next year.
