Mahindra has announced that the bookings for both variants of the XUV400 will start from the 26th of January 2023 and the introductory prices will be limited to the first 5,000 bookings of each variant. As for the delivery timeline, the automaker has confirmed it will start delivery of the more expensive XUV400 EL models from March 2023, while the entry level XUV400 EC model will commence during the Diwali festive season. The SUV manufacturer plans to deliver 20,000 units of the EV within one year of its launch.
The rivals to the XUV400 are the Tata Nexon EV MAX and the MG ZS EV. The new Mahindra SUV comfortably undercuts its competition both in terms of price and performance.
