According to a latest media report, the Mahindra XUV300 Facelift was spotted once again, this time revealing a bit more regarding its interior. Scheduled to launch in early 2024, the upcoming SUV will offer a reworked centre console alongside a larger touchscreen infotainment system and an electric sunroof. Apart from these, we have also come to realize some exterior upgrades.
Let us check out what are the expected updates.
According to the recent spy shots, the exterior of the SUV is expected to offer a refreshed front grille and bumper. Inclusion of reworked headlamps, distinctive C-shaped LED DRLs, updated boot lid and rear bumper also seems to be on the cards for the manufacturer. One can also expect updated alloy wheel design on the high end variants.
The interior of the Mahindra XUV300 Facelift is expected to offer a dual-tone scheme with light beige upholstery. As part of the package, a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system could be part of the equipment list. Other features are likely to include a new digital instrument cluster, updated centre console, single pane sunroof, front & rear centre armrest, 3-point seat belts for all seats, and more.
It is said, Mahindra XUV300 Ffacelift will continue to use the same set of engines as the outgoing model. These include 1.2-litre turbo MPI petrol and 1.2-litre turbo GDI petrol motor. The former can make 107 bhp of power and 200 Nm of peak torque while the latter delivers 127 bhp with 230 Nm torque. There is also a 1.5-litre turbo diesel that produces a maximum power output of 115 bhp and 300 Nm torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Mahindra and Mahindra is likely to launch the XUV300 Facelift in February next year. As for the prices, the current model costs between Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 14.60 lakh (ex-showroom). For the upcoming model, we can expect a hike in prices. Talking about the rivals, it will compete against the likes of Kia Sonet Facelift and New Tata Nexon in its segment.
MG Hector petrol variants now E20 fuel compatible; 2025 model launched with no price hike, meeting new emission norms and supporting sustainable mobility.
