Mercedes-Benz India has confirmed the launch of the EQE SUV in India on 15 September 2023. The new EQE SUV will be the third electric vehicle in the brand's portfolio after the EQB SUV and the EQS sedan.

Based on the brand's Electronic Vehicle Architecture (EVA), the new Mercedes Benz EQE SUV will feature a blanked-off grille, front-door-mounted ORVMs, LED headlamps, flush-fitting door handles, 22-inch aero wheels, an LED light bar on the tailgate and wrap-around LED tail lights.

Moving on to the inside, the SUV is expected to feature dual-tone upholstery. Besides, there will be three screens on the dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, and an ADAS suite similar to the EQS sedan.
Globally, the EQE SUV is available with four variants; 350+, 350 4Matic, 500 and AMG. For the India-spec model, Mercedes is expected to provide 4MATIC, propelled by a 90.6kWh battery pack with two electric motors which can generate the power output of 288 bhp and 764 Nm of peak torque. With the 170 kWh charger, it will juice up from 10-80 percent in 32 minutes, offering a claimed range of 550 km on a full charge.
