New Honda Elevate Facelift Coming This Diwali – What to Expect?

Honda Elevate facelift is expected launch around Diwali 2026. It might get new features and minimal styling updates.

The Honda Elevate is one of the brand’s significant comeback attempts in the Indian market. Launched in September 2023, the SUV started off with strong sales and achieved the milestone of over 1 lakh units sold globally by February 2025. However, its currently monthly sales average stands between 3,000 – 5,000 units, whereas rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara continue to post volumes of 10,000 to 15,000 units per month.

Improved Styling

Aiming to further boost sales, Honda Cars India is set to give the Elevate a midlife update during 2026 Diwali season. Recently, a heavily camouflaged test mule of the new 2026 Honda Elevate facelift was spotted testing on Delhi roads. The SUV retains its boxy and upright stance along with familiar alloy wheels. However, spy shots suggest that the facelifted Elevate might feature revised front and rear bumpers, extended side cladding and new internals for the taillamps.

More Features

To enhance its value proposition, the new Honda Elevate 2026 facelift could be offered with several new features such as ventilated seats and a 360-degree camera. Most existing features are expected to be retained such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leatherette upholstery, auto dimming IRVM, a single sunroof with pinch guard, six-speaker sound system, wireless phone charger, lane watch camera, six airbags and Honda Sensing ADAS suite.

Same Engine & Gearboxes

Mechanically, the new 2026 Honda Elevate facelift is expected to remain unchanged. Currently, the SUV lineup is available with a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, pushing out a peak power of 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. This engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT automatic transmission.

Pricing & Rivals

With only subtle design changes and feature enhancements, the updated Honda Elevate is expected to see a minimal price hike. The SUV lineup is currently available within the price range of Rs 11.60 lakh – 16.67 lakh (ex-showroom). In the midsize SUV segment, it will continue to take on the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Victoris, Tata Sierra, Renault Duster, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Toyota Hyryder.
