Mahindra is all set to launch 3 new SUVs in the first week of October 2025. The company will launch the facelifted versions of the Bolero, Bolero Neo and Thar 3-door. The brand’s oldest and most popular SUV, the Bolero, will receive significant changes, as it turns 25 years old in the market. The upgrades will be limited to cosmetic in nature.
This time around, the Mahindra Bolero facelift will come with a black exterior finish. Moreover, the SUV will be benefitted with slightly updated bumper and wheels. It will maintain its rugged styling with metal bonnet, upright stance and boxy proportions.
The Desi G-Wagon continues to feature vertical grille slats with Mahindra’s Twin Peaks logo, and the rectangular headlamps. The spy images also suggest that the SUV will have flared wheel arches, 15-inch steel wheels with covers, a tailgate mounted spare wheel, and metal body.
The Mahindra Bolero facelift cabin will receive major changes. It will come with a new touchscreen infotainment unit, which will be basic in nature. The infotainment unit is not likely to support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, but customers can use Bluetooth to play music. Adding to it, the old-school SUV will continue to offer three rows seating with third-row getting jump seats. It is likely to get new upholstery for seats.
The new Mahindra Bolero will continue to be offered with the 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 75hp and 210Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The SUV is based on the ladder-frame chassis and will continue to be a sub-4 meter offering. The SUV will be benefitted with latest GST reforms, and will attract a lowered 18% GST.
