Mercedes-Benz C Class electric gets 94kWh battery pack 0-100kmph in just 4 seconds, 325km range can be added in just 10 mins Claims to offer 762km of range
The much-awaited Mercedes-Benz C-Class electric sedan has finally been revealed. It is based on the MB.EA platform that also underpins the GLC EV. This fully-electric mid-size sedan will sit above the new CLA EV, which is set to be launched in our market on April 24, 2026. It uses a 94kWh battery pack, and is claimed to offer a range of up to 762km in a single charge.

The electric C-Class is packed with a new 94kWh battery pack, and claims to offer a WLTP range of up to 762km in a single charge. The C 400 4MATIC offers 360kW (483hp) and can achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 4.0 seconds. This electric sedan supports up to 330kW DC fast charging, which can add up to 325km of range in just 10 minutes under WLTP conditions.
It features a two-speed transmission on the rear axle. The C-Class EV also has rear-axle steering, which reduces the turning circle to 11.2 metres. Adding to it, the sedan gets air suspension with adaptive damping for improved riding experience. The electric sedan offers a luggage carrying capacity of 470-litres and has an additional 101-litre frunk.

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class electric looks largely identical to its ICE-powered counterpart. It has a coupe-like silhouette, featuring a sloping roofline and a fastback-style rear. At the front, the electric sedan gets a large illuminated grille panel that houses the central Mercedes star, and GLC EV-like LED headlamps with integrate multiple lighting functions.
Similar to the newer Mercedes cars like the S-Class, CLA EV, and others, the new C-Class electric gets unique DRLs with start-shaped elements. At the back, the sedan gets round, star-pattern tail-lamps, and sloping rear. Thanks to the sloping rear and clear surface, the new model is claimed to offer a drag coefficient starting at 0.22.

Inside the cabin, the 2026 Mercedes C-Class EV features a large 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen that captures the entire dashboard. This infotainment system runs on Mercedes’ MB.OS and supports over-the-air (OTA) updates. Adding to it, the system supports AI-based virtual assistant and navigation.
In terms of features, the C-Class electric gets panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control, electrically adjustable seats with memory, massage and ventilation functions. It also gets up to 27 cameras and radar-based sensors for advanced driver assistance systems. The sedan comes with up to 11 airbags, and front centre airbag is standard.
