Maruti Escudo to launch on September 3, 2025 Next-gen Hyundai Venue launch likely on October 24, 2025 Tata Sierra EV launch during festive season, around Oct-Nov
The next 2-3 months will be fascinating for car lovers in India. A wide range of new cars and facelifts of existing models will go on sale in our market. While Tata will bring back the iconic Sierra nameplate in an all-new avatar, Maruti Suzuki will have its second midsize SUV with many first features for Maruti in India. In this article, we talk about the top 3 new SUVs launching in the next 2-3 months in India.

Maruti Suzuki is likely to launch the Escudo mid-sized SUV on September 3, 2025. The new Maruti Escudo will be exclusively retailed through ARENA dealership network as a new flagship model. It will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate.
This SUV will be based on the same Suzuki Global-C platform that underpins the Grand Vitara and Brezza. It is reportedly to be slightly longer than the Grand Vitara and will offer more space in second-row and a bigger boot. The SUV will debut several first features for Maruti Suzuki in India.
It will come with LEVEL 2 ADAS tech, powered tailgate, and Dolby Atmos for immersive audio system. The SUV could also get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a digital driver’s display. Engine options will include a 1.5L NA petrol with mild-hybrid system, a 1.5L TNGA hybrid unit and a CNG unit.

The Korean automaker, Hyundai will launch the new generation Venue sub-4 meter SUV on October 24, 2025. The new model has been caught testing numerous times on the Indian roads. Going by the spy images, it is visible that the SUV will receive substantial changes to outside and inside. However, mechanics will remain the same.
The new Venue will adorn Hyundai’s new design language, featuring horizontally layered rectangular bars in the front instead of mesh-type grille in current car. The SUV gets new C-shaped DRLs, new headlamp set-up and bumper. However, the SUV will retain its boxy design with limited changes to its profile. The rear will have new tailgate, bumper and new tail-lamp cluster.
The cabin layout is expected to be completely revised, as it is likely to get a larger connected screen for infotainment and driver’s display. The New Hyundai Venue is expected to get a dual-pane sunroof, LEVEL 2 ADAS, front and rear parking sensors, ventilated front and rear seats, and others. Engine option will include a 1.2L petrol, 1.5L diesel and 1.0L turbo petrol. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DCT, depending on the engine.

Tata Motors will introduce the Sierra EV before festive season Diwali, most probably in October 2025. The new model will come as a lifestyle midsize SUV and will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6 and others in the category. It will be based on Tata’s Acti.ev 2nd gen platform, which also underpins the Punch EV and Curvv EV.
The Tata Sierra EV will measure around 4.3 meters in length. With bolder looks and squarish design, the new model will have a strong road presence. The electric SUV will also mark the debut of triple screen dashboard for Tata Motors. The SUV will be offered as a 5-seater model, but a 4-seater Lounge version could also join the line-up.
The Tata Sierra EV will most likely to be a front-wheel-drive SUV with a front-axle-mounted electric motor; however, Tata could offer an AWD set-up. It is likely to share the battery options with the Harrier EV, which is available with 65kWh and 75kWh batteries. The SUV should offer a realistic range of up to 500km in a single charge.
