The Skoda Kylaq comes with a 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine underneath its bonnet. This unit produces 113.42 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. Buyers have the choice of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The Hyundai Venue is available in three choices of engine. A 1.2-litre petrol motor offers 81.86 bhp and 114 Nm. A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol is more powerful, producing 118.35 bhp and 172 Nm. The strongest of the lot is the 1.5-litre diesel at 114.41 bhp and 250 Nm. Manual, iMT - a clutchless manual, and automatic are the options.
Since it's based on the same underpinnings as the Venue, the Sonet inherits the same engines. The 1.2-litre petrol puts out 81.86 bhp and 115Nm of torque, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol churns out 118.35 and 172 Nm of torque, and the 1.5-litre diesel pumps 114.41 bhp and 250Nm of torque. Just like the Venue, it gets manual, iMT, and automatic transmission options as well.
The Skoda Kylaq is a modern version that sports simple yet attractive designs. It includes cruise control, a single pane sunroof, 6-way electrically adjustable front seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, auto AC with rear vents, and a wireless phone charger. The car comes in different unique colours, including Olive Gold, Tornado Red, and Carbon Steel, making it look quite striking.
Hyundai Venue comes with old designs of its Adventure Edition characterize the Hyundai Venue using black tone markings along with a rugged design. Dual-tone roof options add up to its sporty look. Its top trims offer an 8-inch infotainment system, semi-digital driver display, ventilated seats, cruise control, and connected car technology. The Adventure Edition also adds a dual-camera dashcam and rugged interior accents.
The Kia Sonet goes stylish. It gets clean lines and sober yet bold details, such as LED DRLs and sporty trims like the Gravity Edition. It feels premium within its segment. It has more luxurious features with 10.25 inches touchscreen, a digital driver's display, a Bose sound system, and connected car tech. Its 385-litre boot gives it an edge in practicality for family outings.
The Skoda Kylaq comes with six airbags and multi-collision braking. It includes tyre pressure monitor system, rear parking sensor, electronic stability control, and traction control.
State-of-the-art features have been incorporated by Hyundai Venue, along with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, and TPMS. It also features ADAS variants, which include lane-keeping assist and forward collision warning.
The Kia Sonet boasts extra safety features 360-degree camera system and all-wheel disc brakes. The airbag count is also given at six, and ADAS systems like blind-spot monitoring and lane-keep assist will also be there.

The Skoda Kylaq introductory price is Rs. 7.89 lakh, with four variants available including Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige.
Hyundai Venue is priced between Rs. 7.94 lakh to Rs. 13.48 lakh. It comes in seven variants. It also has an additional rugged Adventure Edition to get that sporty look.
The Kia Sonet offers a starting price from Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 15.77 lakh. It boasts eleven variants, one of which is the Gravity Edition, bringing premium features and styling into the car.
