Skoda India has introduced a new Sportline trim for its popular Slavia sedan and Kushaq SUV. Prices for both start at Rs 14.05 lakh and Rs 14.70 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. This new trim is added to the existing Classic, Signature, Monte Carlo, and Prestige variants of both Kushaq and Slavia.
The all-new Sportline trim of Slavia and Kushaq gets the blacked-out design elements on the outside. These include Black ORVM covers, darkened LED tail lights, and Black boot lip spoiler. The exterior features such as the aero kit and taillights are borrowed from the Monte Carlo trim. Besides, Skoda has offered 16-inch Black alloy wheels for Slavia and 17-inch Black alloys for Kushaq.
Skoda Slavia, Kushaq Sportline comes with an electric sunroof, an auto-dimming IRVM, alloy foot pedals, and rain-sensing wipers, a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a cooled glove box, among other features.
In terms of safety, the new sport trim offers six airbags for both Skoda cars. Other safety features include ISOFIX child seat mounts, rearview camera & rear parking sensors, and a TPMS. Both Sportline trims also get the rear defoggers and the rear wiper.
The engine options include both the 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI. Both get AT options but only the 1.0-litre TSI gets the six-speed MT option. The former produces 114bhp/178Nm while the latter produces 148bhp/250Nm.
