Maruti Suzuki tops the list with 1.44 lakh cars sold in May 2022 Tough fight between Tata, Hyundai and Mahindra Mahindra posted 31.4% YoY sales growth
The brand-wise sales numbers for the month of May 2024 have been officially released. Maruti Suzuki once again retains the top-spot in the list of top 10 car brands in the country. What's interesting is that there is a tough battle going on between Hyundai, Tata Motors and Mahindra for the second position.
Most of the automakers have posted positive year-on-year sales growth; however, few brands reported a slight decline. Maruti Suzuki is at top with 1,44,002 cars sold in the month of May 2024 as against 1,43,708 units in the same month last year, reporting a YoY sales growth of 0.2%.
