Toyota cars has just launched a new variant of its popular Innova Hycross model, the GX Limited Edition with some exterior and interior updates. Offered in petrol guise, the Innova Hycross GX limited edition model is offered in both 7 and 8 seater layout priced at Rs 20.07 lakh and Rs 20.22 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 40,000 more expensive than the standard GX currently on sale. Reports also revealed that the new variant will only be available till December or while the stocks last.
The exterior does not showcase major changes except a few. For instance, it gets a new chrome garnish on the front grille running through the centre while the front & rear bumpers highlight new faux skid plates. Those who prefer the Platinum White paint for the exterior will have to pay an additional of Rs 9,500.
Moving inside, the new model features a new chestnut brown colour for the dashboard and seats while the door trims get a black plastic finish with faux wood trim around the window controls.
The new Innova Hycross GX Limited Edition is offered with a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, paired to a CVT gearbox. The petrol unit can produce 172 bhp of maximum power output and 205 Nm of peak torque. This indicates that Toyota is mainly focusing on making less popular non-hybrid variants more appealing to those who are seeking to buy an MPV currently.
