MUV segment reigned by Toyota Innova Hycross, Vellfire Carnival sold abroad gets ADAS Might get a 14.6-inch rear entertainment screen
Kia’s upcoming Carnival multi-utility vehicle is all set for launch during the festive season later this year. In the recent images seen online, the next-generation Carnival was without camouflage, revealing a lot of exterior details. Carnival’s rivals include the Toyota Innova Hycross and Vellfire.

The seven-seater will retain its overall silhouette with a lot of chrome bits splattered on the front grille. L-shaped LED DRLs are new as well apart from the dual-tone alloy wheels that get a machine finish. We anticipate that these are 18 inchers. Its long profile is further accentuated with large glass panels on the sides.
The previous generation of the Kia Carnival got a 2.2-litre diesel engine that churned out 197 bhp and 440 Nm of torque. Besides the former, the Carnival sold abroad gets a 3.5-litre petrol mill and a 1.6-litre hybrid engine. If reports are to be believed, Kia would equip the Carnival with the 2.2-litre diesel engine compatible with the latest emission norms.
The MUV would be priced in the Rs. 26 lakh to Rs. 35 lakh range and brought to India via the CKD route. Rivals of the Carnival include Toyota Innova Hycross and Vellfire.
