Tata Punch Facelift has been spotted during testing, heavily camouflaged for the first time. The spy images gave the hint of exterior design tweaks, revised interiors, and an expanded feature list set for the facelift model. Expect its launch by mid-2025.
Tata Punch Facelift: Exterior Design
Based on spied images, it is evident that the updated Punch will sport a completely overhauled front fascia, with sharper details reminiscent of recent SUV launched by the automaker. Notable changes will include split LED headlamps with sleeker LED DRLs flanking the grille.
Additionally, the radiator grille and bumper will receive adjustments to give it a more aggressive appearance. Moving to the rear, expect a redesigned bumper with fresh detailing, spoiler, wiper with washer, and tweaked LED tail lamps. Notably, all variants are set to benefit from four-wheel disc brakes, a departure from the current version's front-wheel-only setup.
Tata Punch Facelift: Tech Features
In terms of features, the revised Punch is poised to have several upgrades. These will include a new twin-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo, larger infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, touch-based HVAC panel, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, and a sunroof.
Tata Punch Facelift: Powertrain Details
Under the hood, expect continuity with the current 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It will be paired with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox, delivering 85 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, a factory-fitted twin-cylinder CNG kit option will also be made available.
Tata Punch Facelift: Rivals
Upon launch, the Tata Punch Facelift will compete against the likes of Hyundai Exter, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Ignis, and the anticipated facelift of the C3 hatchback.
