VinFast VF9 7-seater e-SUV Debuts at Auto Expo 2025 Set to be VinFast’s flagship model in India To offer a range of over 500km on a single charge
VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has showcased its electric SUVs at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The company has showcased the electric SUVs VF9 at the Auto Expo 2025. The VF9 is a 3-row, 7-seater electric SUV which is on sale in select international markets as the brand's flagship model.
Yes, the Vietnamese electric vehicle maker will mark its official entry in the Indian market in 2025. The company has showcased its EV line-up at the ongoing Delhi Auto Expo 2025. The VinFast VF9 is the brand's flagship model, which offers seat for 7 adults along with a range of over 500km on a single charge.

The VinFast VF9 is a full-sized 7-seater electric SUV, which measures above 5 meters in length. It measures 5118mm in length, 2254mm in width and 1696mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 3,150mm. In fact, the VF9 is bigger than the Kia EV9 on sale in India.
In the global markets, the new VF9 electric SUV is available in two versions - Eco and Plus. The VinFast VF9 is claimed to offer a certified range of 531km on a single charge, while the VF9 Plus variant offers a range of 468km.

The VinFast VF9 is packed with a 123kWh battery pack with dual-motor setup for AWD drivetrain. The electric motors offer a combined power and torque output of 402hp and 620Nm, respectively. It is claimed to achieve an electronically limited top speed of 200kmph. The SUV can achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 6.63 seconds.
The electric SUV supports fast charging, and the battery can achieve 10-70% charging status in just 35 minutes. The VF9 AWD is claimed to offer three drive modes - Eco, Normal and Sport. For braking, the electric SUV gets ventilated discs at both ends. The top-spec model rides on 21-inch alloy wheels.
The company has not confirmed the launch date of the VF9 electric SUV in India. However, VinFast models are expected to be introduced as a CBU or CKD.

The flagship electric SUV is packed with several high-end features such as powered tailgate with foot kick sensor, heated rear glass and automatic wiper. It is offered with 6 and 7-seat layout with former having captain seats in the second-row. The VinFast VF9 comes with 12-way power adjustable driver's seat with memory function and adjustable headrest. It also gets massage, ventilation and heated functions.
The co-driver gets 10-way power adjustable seat with memory, ventilation, massage and heated functions. In fact, the second-row gets 8-way power adjustable seats with ventilation, heated and massage functions. The SUV gets wireless charger in the second-row of six-seater SUV, while the 3rd row seats get adjustable headrests.
Features list include 4-way power adjustable steering wheel, 3-zones climate control, a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, an 8-inch rear screen on center console, head-up display, wireless charger, electronic parking brake and auto dimming IRVM.
For safety and security, the VF9 gets tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), speed sensitive auto doorlock, 11 airbags, 360 surround view monitoring, front & rear parking assist and ADAS suite.
The ADAS tech offers traffic jam assist, highway assist, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot detection, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam and driver monitoring system.
