Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed the prices of the Scorpio N Automatic and 4X4 variants; Automatic variants are Rs 1.96 lakh more expensive than the standard MT trims; 4X4 variants are only available with the diesel engine and commands a premium of Rs 2.45 lakh
As promised by the homegrown SUV maker at the launch of Scorpio N, the prices of the automatic and 4X4 models have been disclosed. Prices for the SUVs automatic variants start at Rs 14.45 lakh and it will be available with both the petrol and diesel powertrain options. Interestingly, the current prices are only applicable for the first 25,000 bookings, post which the prices will most likely be increased.
The range of automatic transmission of the Scorpio N starts from Rs 15.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Z4 Petrol AT trim and stretches to Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-of-the-line Z8L AT 4WD. The Automatic variants are priced at a uniform premium of Rs 1.96 lakh over the manual transmission.

The premium for the 4WD variants is even higher at Rs 2.45 lakh over the FWD variants and starts at Rs 16.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The most expensive 4X4 variant is the Z8L diesel automatic which costs Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The 4X4 system is offered with the diesel engine only paired to both the manual and automatic transmissions. The Mahindra Scorpio N 4X4 gets the ‘Shift on Fly’ 4WD system with 4XPLOR Intelligent Management Technology.

In addition to the automatic and 4X4 variants, Mahindra also revealed the prices of the 6-seater option which is available only with select Z8L trims at an additional cost of Rs. 20,000.

Bookings for the Scorpio N will commence from the 30th of July 2022, 11 AM onwards. Customers can book the ‘Big Daddy Of SUVs’ online and through company authorised dealerships.

Deliveries of the four-wheeler are expected to begin from the festive season. The home-grown SUV maker plans to roll out 20,000 units of the Scorpio N until December 2022, while prioritizing the production of Z8L variants in order to match the customer expectation at the time of delivery.
