The new-generation Honda Amaze is all set to hit showrooms on 4th December 2024. Ahead of its official arrival, the carmaker has released new teaser sketches revealing its substantially revised front and rear profiles and interior. The design of the new 2024 Honda Amaze appears mature and very refreshing. The front fascia showcases an all-new look with a newly designed, larger grille with a honeycomb pattern, inspired by the globally sold new Honda Civic.
The LED headlamps are slimmer than before and have sharp edges at both corners. The front bumper, featuring large air inlets at each corner, enhances its new look. The new Honda Amaze has a bumper-integrated fog lamp assembly. The rear profile also seems inspired by the Civic, with sleek curves, a revised bumper, completely redesigned taillamps with a smoky finish, and a shark-fin antenna.
The interior sketch shows a futuristic layout with comprehensive changes. The dashboard design has been revised with a honeycomb pattern and integrated AC vents. The old infotainment unit has been replaced with a free-standing, larger touchscreen infotainment system, likely to support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The steering wheel also appears new with a flat bottom. There will be a digital instrument cluster placed just behind the steering wheel. As shown in the teaser sketch, the new Honda Amaze will have a dual-tone black and beige interior theme.
No changes are expected for the engine setup. The new 2024 Honda Amaze will continue to use the 1.2L, 4-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 90bhp and 110Nm of torque. Transmissions will also be carried forward from the current generation – a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
The all-new Amaze will compete against the newly launched fourth-gen Maruti Dzire, which received a 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP. Watching the competition between these two models will surely be interesting as both have entered their next generation with comprehensive upgrades.
