Hyundai is gearing up to launch the Verna facelift in India with some exciting updates. Expected to hit the market in early 2026, the facelifted version of the popular sedan will feature cosmetic revisions and interior improvements, but no major changes under the hood.
Let's take a closer look at what we can expect from the Hyundai Verna facelift.
Hyundai Verna has been a major player in the Indian sedan market since it replaced the Hyundai Accent in 2006. Over the years, the Verna has gone through multiple updates, with each generation bringing new features and design elements. Now, as the Hyundai Verna facelift 2026 approaches, Hyundai is focusing on enhancing the car’s aesthetics and interior without altering its mechanical setup.
Recent spy shots of the 2026 Hyundai Verna reveal a heavily camouflaged prototype, giving us only a glimpse of the changes. These visual updates are likely to be subtle, but will improve the design of the sedan.

One of the standout features of the Hyundai Verna facelift will be the revised exterior design. The latest spy images suggest that the front grille will undergo a makeover, with a more pronounced hexagonal shape and tweaks to the front bumper. These changes are expected to give the new Verna a slightly more upright stance to add a modern touch to its design.
While the fog lamp housing is also likely to be redesigned, the signature light bars at the front and rear might be carried over. The alloy wheels and bonnet design could remain largely the same, maintaining the sedan's sleek and sporty look.

On the inside, the Hyundai Verna facelift will come with significant upgrades. The most notable update will be the introduction of a curved display, which will integrate a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
The steering wheel will also be updated, and the dashboard, centre console, and surface trims are expected to receive fresh materials and finishes. These changes will give the cabin a more premium feel.
Under the hood, there won’t be any major updates to the Hyundai Verna facelift 2026. The current 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine and the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine will likely remain unchanged. Both engine options are expected to continue offering a manual and automatic transmission choice.
