Mahindra Scorpio N has received two new affordable automatic variants. The company has introduced the Z4 petrol automatic and Z4 diesel automatic at a price tag of Rs 17.39 lakh and Rs 17.86 lakh, respectively. Earlier, the cheapest automatic variant of the Scorpio N was Z6 diesel that costs Rs 18.91 lakh.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 trim is available with two engine options - mStallion 2.0-litre turbo petrol and mHawk 2.2-litre diesel. The petrol engine is capable of producing 203hp and 370Nm of torque. The torque output increases to 380Nm with automatic gearbox.
On the other hand, the turbo diesel engine churns out 132hp of power and 300Nm of torque. The Z4 is a rear-wheel-drive SUV; however, one can go with the optional Z4 (E) variant that has a 4WD system.
The Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 is available in a 7-seater avatar with bench-type seat in the second-row. It comes equipped with features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a multi-functional steering wheel, LED turn indicators, and second-row AC vents.
This variant runs on 17-inch wheels with a plastic cover. For safety and security, the 3-row SUV gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold and hill descent controls, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers.
