Discounts On Top 20 Cars In Sept 2024 - Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Thar

The best time to buy a new car is right now. Major car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Mahindra are offering amazing offers with their popular models. To make the most out of this opportunity, we have compiled a list of popular cars that you can consider buying this festive season.

Mahindra Thar 3-Door

There is a massive Rs 1.5 lakh (up to) on 4x4 trims of the Mahindra Thar (three-door), both petrol and diesel. There is a cash discount of about Rs 1.36 lakh with the RWD variants. 

Mahindra Bolero

Mahindra’s Bolero SUV is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 1,00,000 – cash discount of up to Rs 90,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. No corporate benefits this month are being offered on the Bolero.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic, Mahindra Scorpio N

The Mahindra Scorpio Classic has a cash discount of Rs 20,000 on both the S and S11 trims. Meanwhile, the Scorpio N, especially the 2023 models, has discounts from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

Maruti Swift

Maruti Swift buyers can enjoy substantial discounts depending on the variant they choose. For the LXi manual transmission (MT) variant, there is a cash discount of Rs 9,000, which, combined with a scrappage bonus of Rs 20,000 or an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and additional discounts for rural buyers (Rs 3,100) and CRM customers (Rs 3,000), brings the total discount to Rs 35,100, plus a complimentary 2 gm gold coin. Opting for other MT variants boosts the total discount to Rs 45,100 with the same gold coin offer, while automatic transmission (AT) variants offer the highest total discount of Rs 50,100, including the gold coin.

Maruti Baleno

Regarding the Maruti Baleno, the CNG variant is up for grabs with a cash discount of Rs 20,000. Buyers also get to add an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and rural discount of Rs 2,100. With the exchange bonus and rural discount being the same, the cash discount is increased to Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000 for MT and AT variants, respectively.

Maruti Fronx

Maruti has reserved the most discounts for the 1-litre turbo variant - Rs 30,000 (cash discount) and Rs 10,000 (exchange bonus). A Velocity Kit is also on offer for Rs 43,000 with this trim. The exchange bonus is standard for all the variants while cash discounts are as follows - Rs 20,000 1.2L MT (Excluding Sigma), Rs 22,500 (1.2L MT Sigma), Rs 25,000 (1.2L AT) and Rs 30,000 (1L Turbo).

Maruti Brezza

Available with a sole petrol engine, the automatic Brezza gets discounts of up to Rs 33,000 (ZXi, ZXi+). The automatic LXi and VXi trims don’t have a cash discount but have a scrappage/ exchange bonus and CRM discount. However, the CNG model misses out on cash discounts and scrappage/ exchange bonus and has a Rs 3,000 CRM discount. 

Maruti Grand Vitara

The Grand Vitara has a cash discount and exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 + Rs 20,000 (CNG), Rs 20,000 + Rs 30,000 (Mild Hybrid - Sigma), Rs 30,000 + Rs 30,000 (Mild Hybrid - Others) and Rs 50,000 + Rs 50,000 (Hybrid). Notably, the top-end Hybrid model gets an extra exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. A rural discount worth Rs 3,100 has been kept standard across variants. In Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana, selected dealers are offering up to Rs 45,000 in discounts.

Hyundai Venue

With the Hyundai Venue petrol, you can get a total of up to Rs. 55,000 worth of discounts. Differentiation comes in the form of cash discounts that range from Rs 35,000 to Rs 55,000. An exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 has been made available with all petrol – naturally aspirated and turbo – variants. 

Tata - Nexon, Punch, Harrier, Safari

For those interested in Tata’s internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, significant discounts are available this month. The Tata Nexon is now priced at Rs 7.99 lakh after a discount of Rs 80,000. The Tata Safari SUV enjoys the highest discount of up to Rs 1.80 lakh, followed by the Tata Harrier with a discount of Rs 1.60 lakh. Additionally, consumers can benefit from up to Rs 45,000 in extra perks on select models. This promotion is part of a campaign designed for those looking to upgrade their vehicles and the offers are valid until October 3.

Honda Amaze/ City/ City e:HEV

There are total benefits of up to Rs 1.12 lakh on the Honda Amaze. The base-spec E and mid-spec S variants can get total benefits of up to Rs 82,000 and up to Rs 92,000, respectively. Ex-showroom prices of the sub-four-metre sedan range between Rs 7.20 lakh to Rs 9.96 lakh. The Honda City sedan gets a discount of Rs 1.14 lakh on all variants. Whereas, both variants of the Honda City e:HEV come with a discount of Rs 90,000.

Toyota Hyryder

Discounts on the Toyota Hyryder vary by variant, offering substantial savings and added benefits. For all hybrid variants, customers receive a consumer offer of Rs 30,000, corporate benefits of Rs 3,000, and a loyalty/exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, along with a 5-year vehicle warranty valued at Rs 23,500. The Hyryder S, G, and V variants (Neo Drive) include corporate benefits of Rs 3,000 and a significant loyalty/exchange bonus of Rs 35,000, complemented by a 5-year vehicle warranty worth Rs 19,000. For the E variant (Neo Drive), the corporate benefits remain at Rs 3,000, with a loyalty/exchange bonus of Rs 11,000 and a 5-year warranty valued at Rs 18,900.

Toyota Innova Crysta

Toyota is offering a whopping Rs 1 lakh consumer discount on the VX and ZX variants. No additional corporate or loyalty/exchange offers are available. 

Toyota Fortuner

In September 2024, a consumer discount of Rs 30,000, along with loyalty/exchange bonuses worth Rs 1 lakh are being offered with the Toyota Fortuner. This brings the total maximum benefit to Rs 1,30,000.
