The best time to buy a new car is right now. Major car manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Mahindra are offering amazing offers with their popular models. To make the most out of this opportunity, we have compiled a list of popular cars that you can consider buying this festive season.

There is a massive Rs 1.5 lakh (up to) on 4x4 trims of the Mahindra Thar (three-door), both petrol and diesel. There is a cash discount of about Rs 1.36 lakh with the RWD variants.

Mahindra’s Bolero SUV is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 1,00,000 – cash discount of up to Rs 90,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. No corporate benefits this month are being offered on the Bolero.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic has a cash discount of Rs 20,000 on both the S and S11 trims. Meanwhile, the Scorpio N, especially the 2023 models, has discounts from Rs 40,000 to Rs 1 lakh.

Maruti Swift buyers can enjoy substantial discounts depending on the variant they choose. For the LXi manual transmission (MT) variant, there is a cash discount of Rs 9,000, which, combined with a scrappage bonus of Rs 20,000 or an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and additional discounts for rural buyers (Rs 3,100) and CRM customers (Rs 3,000), brings the total discount to Rs 35,100, plus a complimentary 2 gm gold coin. Opting for other MT variants boosts the total discount to Rs 45,100 with the same gold coin offer, while automatic transmission (AT) variants offer the highest total discount of Rs 50,100, including the gold coin.

Regarding the Maruti Baleno, the CNG variant is up for grabs with a cash discount of Rs 20,000. Buyers also get to add an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and rural discount of Rs 2,100. With the exchange bonus and rural discount being the same, the cash discount is increased to Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000 for MT and AT variants, respectively.

Available with a sole petrol engine, the automatic Brezza gets discounts of up to Rs 33,000 (ZXi, ZXi+). For those interested in Tata’s internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, significant discounts are available this month. The Tata Nexon is now priced at Rs 7.99 lakh after a discount of Rs 80,000. The Tata Safari SUV enjoys the highest discount of up to Rs 1.80 lakh, followed by the Tata Harrier with a discount of Rs 1.60 lakh. Additionally, consumers can benefit from up to Rs 45,000 in extra perks on select models. This promotion is part of a campaign designed for those looking to upgrade their vehicles and the offers are valid until October 3.

There are total benefits of up to Rs 1.12 lakh on the Honda Amaze. The base-spec E and mid-spec S variants can get total benefits of up to Rs 82,000 and up to Rs 92,000, respectively. Ex-showroom prices of the sub-four-metre sedan range between Rs 7.20 lakh to Rs 9.96 lakh. The Honda City sedan gets a discount of Rs 1.14 lakh on all variants. Whereas, both variants of the Honda City e:HEV come with a discount of Rs 90,000.

For all hybrid variants, customers receive a consumer offer of Rs 30,000, corporate benefits of Rs 3,000, and a loyalty/exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, along with a 5-year vehicle warranty valued at Rs 23,500. The Hyryder S, G, and V variants (Neo Drive) include corporate benefits of Rs 3,000 and a significant loyalty/exchange bonus of Rs 35,000, complemented by a 5-year vehicle warranty worth Rs 19,000. For the E variant (Neo Drive), the corporate benefits remain at Rs 3,000, with a loyalty/exchange bonus of Rs 11,000 and a 5-year warranty valued at Rs 18,900.

Toyota is offering a whopping Rs 1 lakh consumer discount on the VX and ZX variants. No additional corporate or loyalty/exchange offers are available.

In September 2024, a consumer discount of Rs 30,000, along with loyalty/exchange bonuses worth Rs 1 lakh are being offered with the Toyota Fortuner. This brings the total maximum benefit to Rs 1,30,000.
