This is the best time of the year specifically in September to buy SUVs as most of the models come with huge festive discounts. Whether you want to go for an ICE or electric SUV, there’s something for everyone. Here is a look at some of the best deals available this month:
Disclaimer: Discounts vary from city to city and are subject to stock availability.
Jeep has brought big savings on the table for its Grand Cherokee. Available in a single Limited Optional trim, it has a discount of Rs 12 lakh on its ex-showroom price of Rs 80.50 lakh. This also entails cash discounts, exchange bonuses and other offers. The Grand Cherokee belongs to the premium SUV segment that offers luxury as well as the capability to handle rough terrain, thus, appealing to customers who want to get both a comfortable ride and off-roading capability.
Another luxury SUV you can consider is the MG Gloster, where you can save up to Rs 6 lakh. This comprises discounts worth equal money value as well as other rebates that are on offer. It boasts ample space and a sophisticated equipment list. The Gloster is big, comes with a powerful diesel engine and has great appeal for buyers looking for a luxurious car.
The Jeep Compass is also offered with interesting offers with up to Rs 3.05 lakh as a cash discount. Discounts may include cash incentives for the model and any exchange bonuses that may be in store. Compass features a decent equipment list with great off-road capabilities and a good interior. It is arguably the best compact SUV in the market.
The corporates who have a high interest in driving electric vehicles can now avail of benefits almost up to Rs 3 lakh on the MG ZS EV. This differs according to variants and it also includes cash discounts and exchange bonuses. The ZS EV is special because it has a long range, comes with state-of-the-art features and is most of all, fun to drive.
For those who are thinking of investing in a luxury SUV with a focus on comfort, the Jeep Meridian is being offered with offers up to Rs 2.75 lakh and additional showroom offers this month. These benefits include but are not limited to cash discounts and other offers. Meridian, with a seating capacity of seven, has plenty of space that makes it ideal for long drives as well as family trips.
For those interested in Tata’s internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, significant discounts are available this month. The Tata Nexon is now priced at Rs 7.99 lakh after a discount of Rs 80,000. The Tata Safari SUV enjoys the highest discount of up to Rs 1.80 lakh, followed by the Tata Harrier with a discount of Rs 1.60 lakh. Additionally, consumers can benefit from up to Rs 45,000 in extra perks on select models. This promotion is part of a campaign designed for those looking to upgrade their vehicles and the offers are valid until October 3.
Tata is also offering compelling discounts on their EV lineup. The Tata Punch EV now comes with a Rs 1.2 lakh discount, reducing its price to Rs 9.99 lakh. Whereas, the Tata Nexon EV sees a substantial Rs 3 lakh discount, making it available for Rs 12.50 lakh. Festive promotions on the Punch EV have aligned its price more closely with its ICE counterparts. Additionally, customers purchasing Tata EV can enjoy six months of free charging at any of the over 5,500 Tata Power charging stations across the country. These offers are valid until October 31, 2024.
For buyers considering the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, the discounts are relatively modest compared to Tata’s offers. In Mumbai, customers can receive an exchange bonus of up to Rs 15,000. However, in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana, selected dealers are offering up to Rs 45,000 in discounts. This makes the Brezza’s offer the lowest among the Maruti Suzuki lineup this September.
