Hyundai Motor India has announced that the Hyundai Creta SUV was the highest-selling model in the Indian automobile industry in March 2025. The company sold a total of 18,059 units of the Creta SUV last month.
In fact, the Hyundai Creta was the best-selling SUV in Q4 of FY 2024-25 (January-March). The company had sold 52,898 units of the Creta SUV in the Q4 FY25. In the last financial year that's FY 2024-25, the Creta was the third highest-selling passenger vehicle in India. The company had sold 1,94,871 units of the SUV in last Financial year, reporting a YoY sales growth of 20 percent. Further to it, the Creta was the second best-selling SUV, behind Tata Punch, in FY 2024-25.
 
Hyundai Creta has also reported its highest ever annual sales since its inception in the Indian market. First launched in 2015, the Hyundai Creta completes a decade in the country. Over the last 10 years, the Creta SUV has recorded a total sales of over 1.2 million in the country. Hyundai stated that close to 69 percent of Creta owners opted for the sunroof-equipped variants. The top variants contributed 24 percent to the Creta's total sales tally.

Charged with Hyundai CRETA, the share of SUVs in HMIL’s total sales increased to 68.5% in FY2024-25 as compared to 63.2% in the previous year.
