Jeep India is planning to bring back the special edition of the Meridian SUV. Named X, this special edition first came to India in April 2023 alongside the Upland edition. Later in July 2023, this limited edition was discontinued. However, after receiving high customer demand, the brand has decided to re-launch the Meridian X edition.
It is believed that the Jeep Meridian X edition will be based on the Limited Plus variant of the SUV. However, this new edition will feature a Silvery Moon paint scheme for the exterior with body-coloured lowers to make it look distinctive. Besides, the roof, ORVMs, and alloy wheels will have a grey-coloured finish.
Moving on to the inside, the 3-row SUV will offer a range of comfort and convenience features. These include an 11.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, ambient lighting, footwell lighting, sun shades, a puddle lamp, and an optional entertainment package for the rear seat.
Jeep Meridian X is likely to house a 2.0-litre Diesel Engine paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. This engine option is capable of producing a maximum power of 168 bhp with 350 Nm of peak torque.
