Mahindra has released the Pack Two prices for its much-awaited BE 6 electric SUV. The BE 6 comes in three variants and is offered in different features and battery capacities. Along with that, the company has also made an Pack Two price announcement of its XEV 9e SUV. Below is the list of prices, booking, and delivery schedule of both electric cars.
Mahindra BE 6's starting price is at Rs. 18.90 Lakh with the Pack One variant; For more advance and bigger batteries, the cost rises. All available variants are here along with prices:
The XEV 9e is Mahindra's second electric model, and it is priced similarly to the BE 6. The price of the XEV 9e varies with the variant and battery pack selected:
Like the BE 6, the XEV 9e comes in two battery options, so the customer can select the range that best suits his needs.
The BE 6 and XEV 9e both have two battery options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The 59 kWh variant of the BE 6 is certified to offer a range of 557 km according to MIDC testing, while the XEV 9e with the same battery has a range of 542 km. The 79 kWh battery gives a much greater range. While the BE 6 comes with 79 kWh and goes more than 500 km, the real-life range it will have will indeed be the maximum range the XEV 9e could do on the single charge, for the MIDC range on the same, 79 kWh of battery was covered up with 656 km on a single charge.
Two charger options exist for customers who want to charge their car at home. A 7.2 kW cost will be Rs. 50,000; meanwhile, 11.2 kW costs Rs. 75,000. Both are sold individually, so the vehicle prices do not include the chargers.
Bookings for the BE 6 and XEV 9e will open on February 14, 2025, at 9 AM. Customers can place their bookings online through Mahindra's official website starting February 6, 2025, at 10 AM. The delivery process will be phased, with deliveries for the Pack Three (79 kWh) variant starting in March 2025. The Pack Two variant will begin deliveries in July 2025, while the Pack One variant will be delivered starting August 2025.
BE 6 and XEV 9e have a lifetime warranty for the first registered owner. The battery alone has 10 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first. This warranty is only valid for private vehicle registrations, giving customers long-term protection on their electric vehicle's battery.
