Mahindra Thar Roxx to debut on August 15 It will come loaded with premium features Will rival Force Gurkha 5-door
Mahindra is finally bringing its 5-door Thar next month. Previously, it was assumed to be named Thar Armada but the recent teaser has confirmed it will be called Thar Roxx. The lifestyle SUV is scheduled to make its official debut on 15th August 2024. Get more information regarding design, features, and specifications.

A couple of days ago, Mahindra released the teaser for the upcoming Thar Roxx and confirmed its launch date for August 15. The booking details of the SUV are yet to be revealed. It is expected to be announced on the same day of its launch. However, pre-bookings are open at the dealership level. Enthusiasts can visit the nearby dealership to know more about the booking.
Mahindra Thar Roxx will be a 5-door model which makes it quite obvious to stand at a high price compared to its 3-door counterpart. Talking about the 3-door Thar price stands at Rs 11.35 lakh for the base model and Rs 17.60 lakh for the top-spec variant. For the larger Thar, we assume it to be priced between Rs 13.5 lakh to Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Other exterior design elements include faux skid plates, dual-tone alloy wheels, square LED tail lights, and a front camera.
The interior of the Thar 5-door has not been revealed yet. Though we can expect it to be more spacious inside. With an elongated wheelbase and an additional pair of doors will allow passengers to access the rear seats easily. Further, it is likely to come with good-quality upholstery.
Mahindra That Roxx 5-door will come with a range of premium features compared to its 3-door counterpart. Its dashboard layout will be similar to its smaller Thar version but the addition of upmarket features will impress every Thar enthusiast. It will get 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch digital driver display, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless entry with push button start. The new Thar Roxx will use the same set of engine choices offered in Scorpio N. It will be powered by the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol unit and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel unit. These engine options will be paired to a 6-speed manual and torque converter automatic gearbox.
Force Gurkha 5-door will be a direct rival to the new Thar Roxx. Apart from this, the SUV will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor.
