4 All-New Upcoming Mahindra SUVs - BE 07 and Vision Series

Mahindra Vision S will launch in early 2027 BE 07 will be the fourth born-electric SUV Vision X previews the next-gen XUV 3XO

Mahindra is getting aggressive with its product strategy for the fast growing Indian automotive industry. The company has an ambitious product offensive anchored by four distinct upcoming models, including the pure-electric BE 07 and the Vision line-up including the Vision S, Vision X, and Vision T.  Built on the flexible architectures like INGLO and the adaptable NU_IQ platform, these upcoming SUVs aim to target urban commuters to hardcore off-road enthusiasts.

Mahindra BE 07: the dedicated family EV

Mahindra BE 07 Launch Timeline

The Mahindra BE 07 is the brand’s fourth born-electric SUV, and is designed as a spacious, tech-loaded mid-size electric SUV.  Underpinned by the modular INGLO architecture, the BE 07 drops the coupe-like roofline seen on the BE 06 in favour of a traditional upright family SUV silhouette. The SUV has a wheelbase of 2775mm, which plays an important role in offering spacious cabin. It will have a triple-screen dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, advanced ADAS capabilities, frameless doors, flush-fitting door handles and dual-zone climate control.

It is expected to be offered with 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs with a rear-axle-mounted electric motor. The company could offer a dual-motor AWD setup. The higher-spec variant will have a realistic range of around 500km on a single charge. Using a 175 kW DC fast charger, the 79 kWh battery can attain 10% to 80% top up in roughly 30 minutes.

Mahindra Vision S: the Rugged Compact SUV

Mahindra Vision S Concept Front

The Vision S concept previews a rugged, boxy sub-compact SUV, which will be introduced in a production avatar early next year. It is rumoured to be the smallest member of the Scorpio family. It will be the first model to be based on Mahindra’s flexible NU_IQ platform, which is compatible with Internal Combustion Engine (ICE), hybrids and pure electric.

It comes with an upright stance with dual-pod LED headlamps, pixel-shaped fog lamps, squared-off wheel arches, flat roof and a signature tailgate-mounted spare wheel. It comes with a dual-tone interior scheme, a dual-screen layout, a multi-functional steering wheel, panoramic sunroof and others.

Mahindra Vision X

The Vision X represents a sporty, futuristic crossover design language. This compact SUV will be the smallest member of the XUV family, and previews the next-generation XUV 3XO. The Mahindra Vision X features a cleaner, aerodynamic profile with a split LED headlight arrangement, gloss-black body cladding and flush-type door handles. Its cabin will have dual-display layout comprising an infotainment unit and digital instrument console, and a two-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated logo. Based on the NU_IQ platform, the Vision X production model is expected to be offered with ICE, hybrid and EV options.

Mahindra Vision T: Lifestyle off-roader

Mahindra Vision T India

The Vision T previews a rugged, lifestyle-oriented SUV that shares its design and hardcore off-road legacy with the Thar. In fact, the SUV could be the next Thar electric. It comes with an aggressive boxy silhouette with squared-off wheel arches, chunky all-terrain tires, exterior door hinges, and distinct bonnet latches. It will have a modern, feature-loaded cabin with a floating curved driver’s display and a large infotainment touchscreen. The SUV will also get physical buttons to control most of the usable functions. It is expected to offer four-wheel-drive systems and high ground clearance.
