Mahindra XUV700 is one of the most popular SUVs in India. The vehicle, which was released in August 2021, was a huge success due to its beautiful design, features, and performances. The SUV, which was initially released as the second-generation XUV500, has been a massive hit in the market. While there has not been a major update to the car since its release, there is set to be a facelift in 2025. Is it worth waiting for?
Let's examine what features and tweaks are set to make the 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift a more appealing proposition.
The 2025 XUV700 facelift will feature several new features. It will feature a triple screen layout, consisting of a digital instrument cluster, a middle infotainment screen, and a passenger screen. NFC phone or key card-based car unlocking will allow users to unlock the car with an NFC-enabled phone or key card. The new car will also feature a two-spoke steering wheel with a glowing Mahindra logo and controls. A HUD with AR will display vital car information on the windshield in such a way that drivers will remain alert at all times. The facelift also comes with a 16-speaker audio system, auto-parking feature, and integrated selfie camera. The facelift will also support double wireless charging of the phone for both passenger and driver.
The 2025 XUV700 facelift is expected to maintain the same engines as its predecessor. It will get the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine producing 200bhp and 380Nm of torque for optimum performance. The 2.2-litre mHawk turbo diesel engine will come in two variants: the lower one will produce 115bhp and 360Nm of torque, while the higher one will produce 185bhp and 420Nm of torque. Both engines will be offered with two transmission modes: a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, providing a smooth combination of power and efficiency.
Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to equipped with a suite of new convenience features and technology. The vehicle will likely include a wireless smartphone charging tray, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities, both of which will be convenient smartphone integration. A 12-speaker premium stereo system will likely be standard fare, delivering good sound for all on board. Electrically adjustable second-row seats on the 6-seater version will also be offered for added comfort. Additionally, included on the new version will be Level 2 ADAS features like automatic emergency braking, lane assist, high beam assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring for added safety.
The facelifted XUV700 will bring several new features that improve both its technology and comfort. The triple screen setup, new safety features, and enhanced in-car experience will make it an attractive choice for potential buyers. If you’re looking for a vehicle with modern tech, better safety features, and a premium experience, the 2025 Mahindra XUV700 facelift will be worth considering.
For everyone who has been waiting for the right time to buy a Mahindra XUV700, the 2025 model is a great mix of performance, comfort, and technology. Whether you are an existing customer waiting for the upgrade or someone who wants to buy one for the first time, the facelifted model will bring in more than sufficient changes to make it a future-proof vehicle. If the changes and alterations are as anticipated, then it is definitely worth the wait.
