After introducing the updated Thar and Bolero twins, Mahindra is gearing up for the launch of its next big SUV - the XUV700 facelift. The SUV is currently under its final testing phase. Our sources reveal that the Mahindra XUV700 facelift will launch before the end of this financial year, most probably by December 2025. Adding to it, Mahindra will also launch the XEV 7e and BE Rall-E electric SUVs in early 2026.
The spy images reveal that the 2026 Mahindra XUV700 will come with cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. On the design front, the SUV will retain its overall shape and most of the changes will be made to its front fascia.
The XUV700 facelift will come with a revised front grille and a new LED headlamp set-up with a redesigned C-shaped LED daytime running lights signature. Other changes likely to include new bumpers, new set of alloys and an updated tail-light.
The cabin will receive major changes, as it will have a new dashboard layout inspired by the XEV 9e. The interior spy shots confirms that the new XUV700 will have a triple screen dashboard comprising a central infotainment unit, an instrument panel and a co-occupant entertainment unit.
The new Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to receive Harman/Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos audio tech for an immersive sound experience. Mahindra could introduce the six-seater version of the XUV700, which will have captain seats with ventilation function. The SUV will also receive a much-needed auto dimming IRVM and front parking sensors. Similar to the Mahindra XEV 9e, the 3-row XUV700 could receive an ADAS LEVEL 2+ system along with self parking feature.
The XUV700 facelift won’t receive any mechanical changes. It is available with a 197bhp/380Nm, 2.0L turbo petrol and a 182bhp/450Nm, 2.2L turbo diesel engine. Gearbox duties are handled by a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
