MG cars to get expensive from April 1, 2026 Cars to get expensive by up to 2 per cent MG Select range won't receive a price hike
Most of the car manufacturers, including BMW, Tata and Audi have announced to increase their prices from April 2026. Now, JSW MG Motor India has announced to increase the prices of their models from April 1, 2026.
JSW MG Motor India said that the prices of its cars and SUVs will be increased by up to two per cent, depending on the model and variant choice. In an official statement, MG said, “This price revision is aimed at partially offsetting the impact of continuously rising input costs.”
Interestingly, the MG Select range, which currently includes the Cyberster and M9 electric MPV, will not receive a price hike. The company will soon introduce the IM6 electric coupe SUV in our market. This electric SUV will be retailed through MG SELECT premium dealership network.
MG’s current product line-up in India includes the Windsor EV, Hector, Hector Plus, Comet EV, Astor, Gloster and ZS EV. The company will soon introduce the Majestor full-sized SUV, which will replace the Gloster in our market. Adding to it, MG is planning to enter the plug-in-hybrid market with the Wuling Starlight 560 based SUV.
