Next-gen Hyundai Creta Interiors Spied Second-row to offer more legroom and kneeroom space All three rear seats get adjustable headrests.
Hyundai has started testing the third-generation Creta SUV in Korea. The new model is expected to make its global debut before the end of this calendar year, and its India launch is likely by the end of this year or in Q1, 2027. The latest spy images reveal its interiors, showing the probable changes and its size. It is fairly clear that the next-gen Hyundai Creta will grow in size, and will ride on a longer wheelbase.

The latest spy images confirm that the next-generation of the Hyundai Creta will come with an all-new cabin layout. Its dashboard is completely covered in thick cloth, but the design seems cleaner and clutter free. The cabin design seems inspired by the bigger and modern Hyundai SUVs, including the Palisade. It comes with a new interior door handle, which seems more mature and upmarket.
The spotted model is finished in black, and the seats are covered in black leatherette upholstery. The front seat headrest design looks largely identical to the new-generation Kia Seltos. The big change is visible in the second-row, where it offers more legroom than before. It is clearly visible that the new model rides on a longer wheelbase, possibly around 2.7 meters. All three rear passengers come with adjustable headrests, while the rear passengers will have rear AC vents and fast charging option.

The spied vehicle is fully covered in thick cloth, but the SUV appears slightly longer and boxier than the outgoing model. It comes with a more upright stance and squared-off stance with prominent body cladding. It comes with a completely redesigned front and rear design. The next-gen Hyundai Creta will have a sharper front fascia, featuring a new Hyundai grille, and new LED headlamps with DRLs along with an all-new lower bumper.
We expect the lower body cladding will have a gloss black finish. The rear hides behind the heavy camouflage, but the overall stance suggests that the rear will be completely different with modern lighting and an aggressive lower bumper. The spotted model rides on new 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.
The 2027 Hyundai Creta will be based on the new K3 platform that also underpins the new-gen Kia Seltos, and is claimed to be stronger. The SUV will have six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, rear parking sensors, reversing camera, 3-point seatbelt for all passengers, and others as standard. The higher variants will have LEVEL 2 ADAS, front parking sensors, 360-degree surround view camera, in-built dash cam and others.
In terms of features, the next Creta will have connected screens, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, panoramic sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, adjustable headrests, auto-dimming IRVM, powered ORVMs and others.
The next-gen Creta will come with a hybrid powertrain along with the existing ICE powertrain. The strong hybrid engine is likely to be based on the 1.5L 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine. Other engine choices will include a 115hp, 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol, a 160hp, 1.5L turbo petrol and a 116hp, 1.5L diesel. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be on offer.
