Hyundai Motor India’s most cherished compact SUV, the Creta will soon be getting a facelift. A lot has been speculated over this whole year however what we can tell you is that the vehicle is most likely slated for the middle of January 2024 launch. In the past, we have seen quite a few spy shots giving insights into its exterior and interior design. However recent spy pictures suggest that the cabin could be somewhat different in comparison to the current version.
So what are the likely changes, let us find out?
The interior of this upcoming SUV is likely to offer a new digital instrument cluster as seen in the recent spied images. The steering wheel will provide a two-spoke design while the presence of a dashcam is expected to be part of the package. As for the infotainment system, do not expect much of a change from the current version.
Due to it being dark, not much can be determined however what we can speculate is that the 2024 Hyundai Creta Facelift is likely to offer a 360-degree camera and ADAS suite.
As for the powertrains, the manufacturer is expected to introduce a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This mill will likely generate a maximum power output of 157 bhp with 253 Nm of peak torque.
Apart from this update, the model will carry forward with the other two engine options. These will include a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. While the petrol unit is capable of delivering 112 bhp with 144 Nm torque, the turbo-diesel mill makes 115 bhp alongside 250 Nm of peak torque.
Prices for the upcoming Hyundai Creta Facelift could range between Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will rival the likes of Kia Seltos, MG Astor, and the Skoda Kushaq.
