Hyundai Creta gets benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh. New-gen Creta with hybrid powertrain launching in 2027

Hyundai Motor India is offering attractive discounts and benefits across its model lineup in June 2026, expect for the premium Ioniq 5 electric SUV. Interestingly, the highest benefits are being offered on the brand’s top-selling Hyundai Creta midsize SUV, followed by the Verna sedan and Creta Electric.


Buyers can avail benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh on the Hyundai Creta, including cash discounts, exchange bonus or scrappage benefits and corporate offers.


Discounts Offers


Except for the entry-level E trim, all petrol and N Line variants of the SUV are currently available with a cash discount of Rs 35,000 along with either a scrappage benefit of Rs 50,000 scrappage or an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000. Additionally, buyers can take advantage of a government employee or corporate benefit of Rs 3,000.


Furthermore, customers upgrading from i10, i20, Swift, Balneo, Dzire, Venue, Brezza, Nexon, Exter and Punch can get an additional bonus of Rs 15,000. The entry-level E petrol variant is running on a cash discount of Rs 5,000, while the diesel variants come with a scrappage benefit of Rs 5,000.


Pricing & Sales


The Hyundai Creta SUV lineup is currently available within the price range of Rs 10.9 lakh – Rs 19.91 lakh (ex-showroom). It has dominated the midsize SUV segment ever since its launch in 2015. In May 2026, the Creta registered total sales of 15,235 units compared to 14,860 units, marking a 2.5% YoY (year-on-year) growth.


New-Gen Hyundai Creta Launching in 2027


The first-generation Creta was introduced in 2015, followed by its first major facelift in 2018. THe second-generation model arrived in 2020, followed by a midlife facelift in 2024. The South Korean carmaker is now gearing up to launch the next-gen Hyundai Creta in 2027, with significant design changes, major tech upgrades and a strong hybrid powertrain.


While official specifications of the Creta hybrid are yet to be revealed, the SUV is reported to feature an electrified version of the brand’s tried-and-tested 1.5L petrol engine. The all-new model will share its platform with the new Kia Seltos, and appear bigger than the current Creta. It will also mark debut of Hyundai’s Pleos Connect system in India along with additional features.
