2025 Hyundai Venue to debut with bold new design and Creta-inspired lighting elements Interior upgrades may include ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and updated dashboard layout Expected festive season launch; continues to rival Brezza, Nexon, XUV 3XO, and others
Hyundai is gearing up to launch the new-generation Venue in India around the 2025 festive season. The compact SUV has been spotted testing several times, both in India and overseas. The latest spy shots offer a closer look at the updated front fascia, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming model.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue sports a refreshed exterior design that aligns with the brand’s evolving design philosophy, similar to what we've seen on the new Creta and Creta N Line. Up front, the SUV features vertically stacked rectangular headlamps, likely to be dual-chamber LED reflector units. The Q-shaped LED element below the headlamps is a nod to design cues seen on the Exter and Creta N Line.
A new sleek grille design enhances the Venue’s premium appeal, complemented by inverted L-shaped LED DRLs positioned horizontally at the top. There’s also speculation that the new Venue could boast a full-width LED light bar, adding to the futuristic styling. At the rear, expect a similar lighting format and a reworked bumper to complete the SUV's makeover.
While the overall silhouette of the Venue remains familiar, subtle enhancements add a more rugged look. Updates include sharper ORVMs, redesigned roof rails, and new body cladding. A flatter beltline gives the SUV a more boxy and upright stance. One of the most noticeable changes is the introduction of sportier new alloy wheels, which significantly elevate the side profile.
Inside, the new-gen Venue is likely to feature an updated dashboard and centre console, along with a fresh interior theme and ambient lighting. Front ventilated seats could also make their debut in the compact SUV segment with this model.
The current Venue already offers a strong list of features, including:
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Voice recognition
Home-to-car connectivity via Alexa
Over-the-air (OTA) updates
8-inch touchscreen infotainment system
Digital instrument cluster with colour TFT MID
More than 60 connected features via Hyundai Bluelink
Hyundai will likely carry over its comprehensive safety package, including Level-1 ADAS – a segment-first offering. Other safety features expected in the new Venue include:
6 airbags
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
Vehicle Stability Management (VSM)
Hill Assist Control
Rear parking sensors
Rearview camera with dynamic guidelines
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Electrochromic IRVM
The 2025 Hyundai Venue is expected to retain the current engine options, which include:
1.2L NA petrol
1.0L turbo-petrol
1.5L diesel
Transmission choices will likely remain unchanged, including manual, iMT, and DCT options.
In terms of competition, the new Venue will continue to rival the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Skoda Kushaq, and Toyota Taisor. In March 2025, the Hyundai Venue ranked 5th in the sub-4m SUV segment, holding a market share of 9.26%.
The new-gen Venue is expected to arrive around the festive season in 2025, possibly during October or November. Hyundai could introduce a slight price hike with the refreshed model. For reference, the current Venue is priced between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom).
