In order to improve sales, Renault has announced to launch 3 all-new cars in the Indian market over the period of next 2-3 years. The third-generation Duster will be the next big launch from the French automaker in the country. Scheduled to be launched in 2025, the new Duster has already been caught testing on the Indian roads.
Another upcoming big launch from Renault will be an all-new 3-row SUV, which will be based on the Duster's platform. The 7-Seater Renault Duster is expected to be launched in late 2025 or early 2026. Renault's low-cost brand for Europe, Dacia has recently introduced the Bigster SUV that sits above the Duster in the line-up. Measuring over 4.5 meters in length, the Renault Bigster is most likely to receive a 7-seater version for markets outside European continent.

The new Renault Duster 7-seater SUV will be based on the heavily localized CMF-B modular platform. The third-gen Duster on sale in Europe and Turkey is based on this global architecture; however, Renault-Nissan Alliance will use local components to increase the localization levels and achieve competitive pricing.
The new Renault Bigster 7-seater SUV measures 4.57 meters in length, 1.81 meters in width and 1.71 meters in height, and has a wheelbase of 2.7 meters. The SUV rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and has dual-tone paintwork. The global-spec model is offered with 1.2L turbo petrol with mild hybrid setup and a 1.6L strong hybrid engines. It is offered with multiple driving modes - Snow, Mud/Sand, Normal, Off-Road and Eco.

On the other hand, the new Duster 7-seater SUV for India is likely to be powered by a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. This engine will also power the third-generation Duster SUV. Adding to it, the 3-row SUV could receive a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine with manual and CVT automatic gearbox options. The more powerful version could also receive a 4x4 drivetrain.
