Skoda Kushaq facelift and Renault Duster Launching in January 2026

The Czech automaker, Skoda is reportedly planning to launch the Kushaq facelift in January 2026. On the flip side, the third-generation Renault Duster is scheduled to be launched on January 26, 2026. Both SUVs will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and others in the category.


Skoda Kushaq facelift


The new Skoda Kushaq facelift will come with cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of comfort and convenience features. In terms of design, the SUV will have revised headlamps, larger fog lamp units, revised front grille and connected DRL setup. Other design changes could include new alloy wheels, and a slimmer tail-lamps connected by an LED bar.


The new SUV will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, which is not available in the current car. The new Kushaq facelift will also get LEVEL 2 ADAS tech. The engine choices will remain the same, including a 115hp, 1.0L turbo petrol and a 150hp, 1.5L turbo petrol. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic with 1.0L unit and a 7-speed DSG with 1.5L turbo petrol unit. 


New Renault Duster

The new-gen Renault Duster will be produced at Renault’s Chennai based manufacturing facility. It is based on the CMF-B modular platform, which is compatible with ICE and hybrid powertrains. In terms of features, the SUV will have a large central infotainment unit, a digital driver’s display, connected car tech, powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, automatic AC and LEVEL 2 ADAS. 


The third-gen Duster will be powered by a 1.3L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 156bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission choices could include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT. Renault could also offer the 1.0L turbo petrol engine in the lower-spec variants of the new Duster.
