Tata Motors is celebrating the launch of its new electric SUV at the Buddh International Circuit with an event called ‘QUAD Day!’ In a recent Instagram reel by autoyogi reveals the new Tata Harrier EV effortlessly pulling a 23,000 kg military truck.
This clearly shows the incredible power and performance of the new Tata Harrier EV. Previously, the electric SUV was seen climbing the Elephant Rock in Kerala. This shows the strong off-road capabilities of the electric SUV. The Elephant Rock of Kerala is situated at an elevation of 3,937 feet.

The electric SUV is packed with two battery choices - 75kWh and 65kWh. Both QWD (Quad-wheel-drive) and rear-wheel-drive configurations are on offer. The AWD version is claimed to offer an instantaneous torque of 504Nm. In the QWD system or AWD system, the rear motor and front-axle mounted electric motor offers 235bhp and 156bhp, respectively. The electric SUV is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 6.3 seconds, making it the fastest in its category.
The electric SUV also gets multi-link rear suspension setup, all called Ultra glide suspension setup, to offer better performance on both on-and off-road. The Tata Harrier EV offers 6 terrain modes - Snow, Sand, Rock-Crawl, Mud Ruts, Custom and Normal. Tata Motors has added an ‘Off-road Assist’ function, which is essentially a low-speed cruise control that can be set as low as 5kph.
There is also a ‘Transparent’ mode that shows an image of what’s underneath the Harrier electric on the infotainment screen. The Tata Harrier electric SUV comes with four-level regenerative braking system along with a summon mode.
