Tata Punch EV facelift is all set to launch in India on February 20, 2026. The updated version of the electric SUV will come with a few exciting changes to its design, features, and battery. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Punch EV facelift 2026.
The new Tata Punch EV facelift gets some noticeable updates to its design. At the rear, the car now has connected LED tail-lights that run across the width of the tailgate. The bumper has a new dual-tone finish with a grey insert, while the skid plate has been updated for a fresher look.
At the front, the LED DRLs have been changed from a wide light bar to a thinner black trim strip. The front also sees some design tweaks, with the triangular elements around the headlights looking more recessed. The air dam on the bumper has become slimmer, giving it a more modern feel.

Inside, the Tata Punch EV facelift will look similar to the previous model. It will still come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen for entertainment and navigation, a 360-degree camera for better parking, and ventilated front seats for added comfort. The car will also include wireless charging and connected car tech, making it tech-friendly and convenient.
One of the biggest updates in the Punch EV facelift is the larger battery. The current Punch EV offers two battery options - 25 kWh and 35 kWh, giving it a range of up to 270 km on a full charge.
The facelifted model is expected to come with a larger battery, which will improve the range and performance of the vehicle. The smaller battery of the previous version offered 81 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, while the larger battery version gave 122 bhp and 190 Nm. The new facelifted model could even come with a more powerful motor to make it even better.
The price of the Tata Punch EV facelift is likely to be slightly higher than the current version, which is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The price increase is expected because of the bigger battery and new features. However, it will still remain one of the most affordable electric SUVs in India.
