At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Tata Motors has unveiled the new Stealth editions of its popular SUVs – the Tata Safari and Tata Harrier EV. These special editions come with a sleek, matte black exterior and a stylish all-black interior, giving both models a more aggressive and premium look.
The Tata Safari Stealth is featured with brilliant matte black finishing and design elements where all the front grille, air dam, and the bumper are completely blacked out and it has 'Safari' lettering at the front. In addition, the SUV features a 19-inch alloy wheel.
However, the Tata Harrier EV Stealth edition comes in a matte black exterior and has dual-tone alloy wheels. But connected LED lighting as well as general silhouettes for the design components remain unchanged to the standard ones.
Inside, the Safari and Harrier EV Stealth edition have an all-black theme. Though the dashboard layout is similar to their standard variants, the special editions get some high-tech features. Both SUVs feature a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control. The cabin also features a JBL-tuned 10-speaker sound system, cooled seats, and a new drive selector for automatic variants.
Both models come with seven airbags, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, and ISOFIX child seat mounts as well.
The Tata Safari Stealth edition keeps the same 2.0-liter diesel, churning out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. It also comes with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The Harrier EV Stealth edition features a dual-motor setup and 500 Nm of torque, but information on the battery, motor power, and range is still scarce.
The stealth edition, in both variants of Tata Safari and Harrier EV, certainly carries an upper-end tag. The standard Safari is available with Rs 15.50 lakh to go all the way up to Rs 27 lakh. The ex-showroom range for the Harrier EV is estimated around Rs 30 lakh.
The Stealth edition versions of Tata Safari and Harrier EV will no doubt end up in the hands of those who'd want a sportier yet premium version of these already very highly sought SUVs.
