Vayve Mobility, Pune-based maker has finally launched the new Eva electric urban car in the Indian market. Available at a starting price of Rs 3.25 lakh, the new Vavye Eva is available in 3 battery pack options - 9kWh, 12.6kWh and 18kWh. Interested buyers can book the new electric Urban car by paying a token amount Rs 5,000.
The new Vayve Eva is put on display at the Auto Expo 2025. Deliveries for the new electric urban car are scheduled to commence in the second half of 2026. In fact, first 25,000 customers who book the vehicle will get additional benefits. These customers will receive extended warranty and 3 years of complimentary vehicle connectivity.
The new Vavye Eva Nova and Stella variants come with an optional solar roof, which customers can buy for Rs 20,000. For the top-spec Vega variant, customers will have to pay Rs 25,000 for the solar roof.
Similar to the MG Motor India, Vavye Mobility has also announced battery-as-a-service with the new EVA EV. The company charges Rs 2/km with a minimum running distance of 600 km, 800 km and 1200 km for the Nova, Stella and Vega, respectively.

In terms of proportions, the new Vavye Eva is 3060mm in length, 1150mm in width and 1590mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,200mm. In fact, the EVA's wheelbase and length are more than the MG Comet EV.
The EVA is designed to offer easy of driving through traffic in our urban spaces. It is a two-door urban car, which has a quadricycle-like design. The electric car rides on small 12-inch wheels. This 3-seater electric car has a single centrally placed driver's seat, which is very similar to the one available in the Vavye EVa. There is a bench seat for two occupants in the rear.
Inside the cabin, the new electric urban car gets a dual-screen setup for a touchscreen and a digital instrument console. The infotainment unit is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity. Other features include a six-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, automatic climate control, over-the-air updates, a reverse camera, hill hold assist, and others.
The electric car is available in six exterior colours - Moonstone White, Light Platinum, Rose Coral, Sky Blue, Champagne Gold and Cherry Red.
The top-spec variant comes with an 18kW battery pack and offers a range of 250km on a single charge. The other battery options include a 9kWh and 12kWh, offering 125km and 175km, respectively. With an optional solar roof panel, the EV offers an additional driving range of 10km. The EVA is claimed to offer a running cost of just Rs 0.5 per kilometer.
It comes with a rear-wheel-drive motor offers 40Nm of torque. The Vavye EVA can achieve 0-40kmph in just 5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 70kmph. The IP67 rated battery is placed under the floor. It comes with a driver-side airbag and seatbelts for all passengers. The battery can be charged from 0 to 70 percent in 15 minutes using a DC charger. Using a normal 15A household socket, the battery can be charged in 5 hours.
