VinFast showcased one of the most extensive product ranges at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show, held at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The display featured the smallest VF 3 electric SUV to the largest VF 9 EV along with the unique VinFast VF Wild concept. During the event, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer confirmed its plans to commecne Indian operations in the second half of 2025 with two midsize electric SUVs – VF 6 and VF 7. Both are premium EVs, which are likely to be priced nearly Rs 35 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, respectively, in India.
The VF 6 will be VinFast’s answer to the Mahindra BE 6 and Mahindra XEV 9e. In India, it’s expected to be offered in Eco and Plus variants powered by a 59.6kWh battery pack. The Eco variant will have a front axle mounted electric motor generating a maximum power of 178bhp and 250Nm of torque. This variant will promise a range of 399km (WLTP). The Plus variant will have an electric motor, pushing out power worth 204bhp and 310Nm of torque. This electric SUV supports Leve 2 AC and Leve 3 DC fast charging.
The VinFast VF 6 has ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) suite right from the base variant, offering features such as adaptive cruise control, Level 2 highway assist, emergency lane keep assist and lane centering assist. It comes with a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, OTA (over-the-air) updates, and several premium goodies. The VF 6 has a futuristic, highlighted by a signature front and rear light bar with LED effects, sleek body panels, bold a-wing front apronand aggressive rear profile. It’s a 5-seater electric SUV with 4,238mm of length, 1,820mm of width and 1,594mm of height. The EV has a wheelbase of 2,730mm and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.
The VF 7 is relatively bigger than the VF6 crossover EV. It measures 4,545mm in length, 1,890mm in width and 1,635.75mm in height and has wheelbase of 2,840mm. The carmaker says that EV “combines dynamic, avant-grade exterior styling with a spacious, driver-focused, tech-savvy cabin experience”. Similar to its younger sibling, the VinFastVF 7 will come in two variants – Eco and Plus with a larger 75.3kWh battery pack. The Eco variant with a single front motor returns a claimed power of 204bhp and 310Nm of torque, while the Plus with the dual motor offers a combined power of 354bhp and 500Nm of torque. This electric SUV is claimed to deliver a WLTP-certified range of 450km (Eco) and 431km (Plus).
The Eco variant features a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while the Plus trim offers a bigger 15-inch touch unit. The top-end Plus trim is also available with two alloy wheel options – 20 and 21-inches. The Eco variant has been assembled with the 19-inch alloys. Both variants provide access to Level 2 ADAS safety features including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and more.

Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 account for 56 percent and 44 percent of the total bookings, respectively. Deliveries for the new Born EVs will commence from mid-March 2025.
