Honda Cars India is currently selling 3 car models, including SUVs and sedans, in the country. Honda is selling the City and Amaze in the mid-sized sedan and compact sedan segments, respectively. The Honda Elevate is the only SUV in the Japanese car manufacturer's small line-up in India.

The Amaze is the company’s smallest and most affordable car in India. The sub-4 meter sedan is available in the price bracket of Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 11.20 lakh, ex-showroom. The 5th generation Honda City is priced between Rs 11.82 lakh and Rs 20.75 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Honda Elevate price in India starts at Rs 11.69 lakh and extends up to Rs 19.73 lakh for the top-end variant.
In the SUV category, Honda is currently selling the Elevate mid-sized SUV. First launched in June 2023, the Honda Elevate has received a positive response from car buyers. However, the SUV received more popularity in global markets, including Japan.
The Elevate SUV is available in a single 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine with manual and CVT automatic options. The SUV rivals the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and others.
Honda Cars India is selling two sedan cars, including the City and Amaze, in the country. Honda City is currently in its 5th generation and is available with two powertrain options - a 1.5L, 4-cylinder NA petrol and a 1.5L Atkinson cycle engine with e:HEV hybrid tech.
The Amaze sedan is in its 3rd generation and is available with a single powertrain option that’s 1.2L 4-cylinder NA petrol. It is the only sedan in its segment to offer an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite.
Honda currently has no electric vehicles in its line-up in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch an all-new electric SUV in the country in 2026. It will be a new mid-sized SUV, which will rival the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6.

Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) was established in 1995 as a joint venture between Honda Motor Company (HMCL) and Usha International called Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI). In 2012, the Japanese brand bought a 100 percent stake in the company and renamed it as Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL). Currently, the brand operates from its manufacturing facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan.
Honda currently has more than 430 authorised dealerships across 274 cities operating in India. Honda cars are known for their reliability, fuel-efficient powertrains and for their resale value. Honda is currently offering petrol and hybrid cars in India.
This Japanese manufacturer sells 2 sedans and 1 SUV, which are manufactured at the brand's Tapukara-based production plant in Rajasthan. The company's first offering in India was the Honda City sedan, which continues to be the brand’s best-seller.
