Tata Motors is all set to reveal the new Altroz facelift in the Indian market today. Prices of the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will release on 22nd May, 2025. This hatchback will receive design and interior changes along with new features addition. Tata Motors is also preparing the Punch facelift, Harrier EV and the Sierra, which will be launched before the end of this year.
The new Altroz facelift will receive a revised front fascia, featuring a more prominent grille, revised LED projector headlamp setup in a split pattern and new eye-brow-like LED daytime running lamps and new lower bumper with new vertical creases and new fog lamp housing.
The side profile appears largely identical to the outgoing model, except for the new set of alloy wheels and new flush-type door handles with illumination. It is early to comment whether the hatchback will have auto pop-out door handles or manual. The rear passenger door handles continue to be placed on C-pillar.
The rear also gets subtle changes, as it comes with the connected LED tail lights. It also gets newly designed sportier dual-tone bumper and new LED tail-lights with a T-motif connected via an LED light bar.
The hatchback has received changes in-line with the new Nexon compact SUV. It comes equipped with a larger, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which we have already seen on the Nexon and Punch EV. The company has also replaced the low-res 7-inch instrument cluster. It now gets the same 10.25-inch HD digital driver’s display that shows Google Maps Navigation.
Similar to the Punch EV and Nexon, the Altroz gets the new 2-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo. The 2025 model also comes with a 360-degree surround view camera, which enhances its safety and makes parking easier in tight spots. Adding to it, the new Altroz gets lighter beige leather upholstery to offer roomy interior feel. The hatchback also comes equipped with a voice assisted electric sunroof.
The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift retains its engine options including a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder NA petrol and a 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel. The former is good for 87bhp and 115Nm of torque, the turbo unit produces 90bhp and 200Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
It also gets the CNG version, which has a 1.2L petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The powertrain produces 73bhp and 103Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Altroz Racer will continue to be offered with the same 118bhp/170Nm, 1.2L turbo petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
